I heart Jason Wu; he is extremely talented and full of creativity to last all of eternity. I secretly want to meet him one day, so Jason, if you ever read this, not that you would, I would love (LOVE) to meet you.

Anyway, so check this out, according to New York magazine‘s Charlotte Cowles, he is producing a contemporary collection called Miss Wu due out next January. How awesome is that, right? You may remember Wu partnered with Target to create a line of reasonably priced, very accessible via Target for women. His Target collection, which was all the talk in the fashion world had pieces from pleated skirts to shift dresses to feminine blouses.

According to New York magazine, “He’s partnered with Nordstrom to introduce the line in January, and has a one-year contract to sell the clothes exclusively through the department store’s 49 locations and on its website”. Read the full story here.

Baby Arianna’s Nursery Unveiled, Finally (Part 1)

I did not finish decorating Arianna’s nursery until she was probably about three months old. I waited to finish a little later because we had ordered a 3-in-1 crib and it took forever to arrive. It is a convertible crib that will grow with the LO from {infant→toddler→full size bed}, which we thought was so amazing because we would not have to buy a new bed for every stage. Do you have convertible crib, like it or not?

With no specific theme in mind, we choose a light pink color for the walls. At first glance you’ll think it’s white but it’s very close in shade to Behr’s ‘Pink Parfait 170A-1’ but with a little bit of an orange tint. It looks very pretty on the walls. Because I was very pregnant at the time, Edward went shopping for drapes without me. He came home with these amazing drapes in baby pink with sheer white drapes that complimented the pink drapes. He had purchased them from Target—gotta love that store! It looked so amazing and I was completely in love with her nursery. I started adding other elements to the room. My goal was to keep everything else as simple + clean as possible because I wanted the big piece—crib—to be the star of the nursery if you will. From there everything else fell into place.

Anyway, here’s the big unveiling of her nursery.

I love the wall decal. I was so touched when I read the message that I had to have it for her nursery.

There was this big wall on the opposite side of the room and I didn’t know what to hang that would make good use of the space. I finally settled on a family collage. These pictures were taken on her birthday.

Close up view of our family. Best day ever! The bottom three are 8×10 frames, black + white pics of us and her sono pic. Two pics at the top are 20×24 I believe. I thought the black+white+color + size of frame contrast was so cute.

I knew I wanted some sort of netting in her room. I found this at IKEA, I love it!

Wide shot…

Dream” wall art, inspiration for Dream | Love | Believe. Ironically, she loves staring at that wall art when we’re feeding.

I purchased this white leather sofa sleeper and this very amazing Ralph Lauren pink floral pillow. Together they look stylish and sleek, and perfect for out of town family+guests. We’ve actually used it quite a few time.

This amazing LARGE area rug (folded in 1/2 in pic) is completely handmade and was a gift from a family member. I love the elephant design. It’s a quilt but I decided to use it as an area rug because I couldn’t find something that fits the space. It definitely adds that very personal touch to the room. {More pictures are coming soon, so stay tuned.}

What do you think about the nursery?
