Hair Trend for Summer 2012

This picture inspired me so much I wanted to see all the gorgeous, playful, feminine hair trends on spring/summer catwalks from some of the world’s top designers.

I talked a little bit about this in my guest blog post for London’s The Fashion Tag blog

From Donna Karen S/S 2012 to Valentino S/S 2012, there are some amazing hair styles and some that’ll make you say, “no thanks”, but overall, the styles are feminine, glamorous with lots of volume with blowouts and Adele-inspired beehive ‘dos.

TOP HAIR TRENDS FOR S/S 2012
  • Ponytails,
  • Side parts,
  • Center parts,
  • Braids,
  • Blow-outs
  • Volume styles, and
  • The wet look

See for yourself…

Ponytail, Donna Karan S/S 2012 {sexy + making a statement}

Braids, Valentino S/S 2012 {soft + effortless}

Braids, Valentino S/S 2012 {beautiful + feminine}

Braids, Giorgio Armani S/S 2012 {love it}

Braids, Alexander McQueen {leave it to McQueen to use this hairstyle in his show. Looks like tracks for extensions}

Blowout, Chloe {my hair is almost this length and I’m thinking about getting a blowout this weekend, what do you think=yay or nay?}

Blowout, Anna Sui {I love this Anna Sui blowout, so glamorous + sexy!}

Volume, Fendi S/S 2012
