Wondering what to do with your old magazine? How about using them to cover your summer reads.
The going is always easy in the summer, and if you’re like me, you like to read a book poolside on the weekends (preferably w/a cocktail), or at bedtime, or on the train. But reading in public place, like the train, can be well, not so private. Some riders are nosy and they want to know what you’re reading. (I DISLIKE when some try to read your text messages, but that’s a rant for another time).
It took me all of three minutes to wrap my summer read with 101 fashion ideas from pages of my old marie claire.
What you need:
1. scotch tape
2. magazine (or newspaper) pages
Just take a large page (depending on size of your book), wrap around the front and back covers. Use scotch tape to bind magazine page to book. Read!
