On May 5, 2010, developers and product managers at Google Search launched a new search interface that will change the way users get results on Google.com. The changes, albeit subtle, is a hybrid of previous search interfaces from Google –universal search, search option panel, and of course Google Squared.
The changes were definitely much needed and presents a new way for users to view results like never before, like incorporating images, videos, books, or news into the results view is genius –skip the text! I’m seeing less text and more user-interactions on the Web lately and Google certainly delivers on this need. I like it.
The new look is also in the works for mobile users as well, of course! Learn more about Google’s new look for mobile technology.
Traditionally and with no fail, product managers at Google always release a video with a new product launch. This was no different, watch and learn about all the Google Search changes on YouTube.
